ETSU 65, Appalachian St. 48

Adam Sollazzo scored 23 points and Isiah Brown 16 to lead East Tennessee State over Appalachian State 65-48 on Saturday.
Sollazzo fittingly scored the game's first basket for ETSU, sparking a 21-8 run to open the game. The Buccaneers (4-5) led the entire way, were out ahead by 19 points at the break and easily won despite being outscored 24-22 in the second half.
Sollazzo also led ETSU with nine rebounds and five assists.
The win means the Buccaneers, who also beat Appalachian State on Nov. 15 for their first win of the season, sweep the season series. ETSU snapped a four-game losing skid win the win.
ETSU outrebounded Appalachian State 33-29 and tallied 11 steals in the contest.
Rodney Milum and Jamaal Trice scored 12 points apiece to lead the Mountaineers (4-5), who have lost three straight.
