Eastern Washington whips Northern Kentucky 81-60

CHENEY, Wash. (AP) Tyler Harvey scored 20 points and Eastern Washington continued its torrid shooting, scorching Northern Kentucky 81-60 on Wednesday night.
The Eagles (5-1) showed no letdown after their historic win at Indiana on Monday, shooting 55.8 percent from the field, including a 12-of-24 showing from 3-point range. The last time EWU opened 5-1 was in 1985.
Eastern's only sub-.500 shooting game was in a loss at SMU last week and the Eagles now have double-figure 3-pointers in every game except at Indiana, where they won 88-86. No team has made above 50 percent against EWU.
The Norse (2-3) shot just 28.6 percent in the first half, falling behind 37-20. Reserves Daniel Camps and Todd Johnson led the way with 14 and 12 points, respectively.
EWU's lead reached 30 when Drew Brandon fed Sir Washington for a dunk with 7 minutes left.
Venky Jois and Ognjen Miljkovic added 14 points each for Eastern and Brandon had 11.
