Shamarr Bowden had 17 points, leading four double-figure scorers for East Carolina in a 76-51 win over Coastal Carolina on Monday night.

Miguel Paul added 15 points, Maurice Kemp 13 and Darrius Morrow 12 for the Pirates (6-4).

The Chanticleers came in with nine wins in 10 games, but were pushed around from the start by East Carolina. Coastal Carolina went up 1-0, but that would be the Chanticleers' last lead as Morrow's dunk and jumper helped put together a 6-0 run for the Pirates.

They'd lead the rest of the way, pushing the game-opening run to 22-8, leading by 12 points at the break and outscoring Coastal Carolina 41-28 in the second half.
