Glen Dean scored 17 points before fouling out, leading six Eastern Washington players in double figures as the Eagles beat Idaho State 83-70 on Saturday night.

Jeffrey Forbes added 15 points, Kevin Winford 14 and Cliff Ederaine 13 for the Eagles (7-14, 4-5 Big Sky), who trailed by as many as 10 points before taking their first lead early in the second half.

Kenny McGowan scored 24 points and Deividas Busma 19 for the Bengals (6-15, 2-7). Down by 15 with 4:22 left, Idaho State closed to within 75-67 with 1:41 left.

But Ederaine answered for Eastern Washington, hitting his first 3-pointer of the year with 57 seconds left, and Forbes made four straight from the foul line as the Eagles sealed it.

Laron Griffin had 11 points and Cliff Colimon scored 10 for the Eagles. Phyllip Taylor scored 10 for Idaho State.
