Kevin Winford scored a career-high 39 points and made a school-record 10 3-point shots as Eastern Washington beat New Hope Christian College 112-41 on Saturday night.
A week after setting a school mark for 3-pointers with eight, Winford had that many by halftime for the Eagles (2-5).
Shawn Mawson and Charles Swann scored 10 points each for the Deacons (4-1), a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association.
After Caleb DeGroot's three-point play pulled New Hope to within 6-5, Winford hit his third 3-pointer to start a 14-0 burst that gave Eastern Washington a 20-5 lead 5 minutes into the game.

Jeffrey Forbes added 23 points, Tremayne Johnson 15 and Cliff Ederaine 12 for the Eagles. Ederaine had 17 rebounds.
