Denver edges Arkansas-Little Rock 72-70 in OT

Brian Stafford scored 15 points and Chase Hallam added 14, including a three-point play with 22 seconds left in overtime to lift Denver to a 72-70 victory over Arkansas-Little Rock on Sunday.

Tyler Thalken also scored 14 points for the Pioneers (6-9, 2-0 Sun Belt), who have won four straight. Andrew Hooper had 10 points.

Solomon Bozeman led the Trojans (8-8, 0-2) with 25 points but had his potential game-winning 3-pointer blocked by Thalken as time ran out. D'Andre Williams added 12 points.

Trailing 70-69, Denver got the ball back after a turnover by Bozeman. Hallam then scored on a layup, was fouled and hit the free throw.

Little Rock lost its fourth consecutive road game and is 1-8 in Denver.
