Delaware pulls away from NC-Wilmington 70-57

WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) Jarvis Threatt scored 24 points and Carl Baptiste added 10 points and a career-high 16 rebounds as Delaware pulled away from NC-Wilmington for a 70-57 win Wednesday night.

Devon Saddler, Davon Usher and Kyle Anderson finished with 11 points apiece for Delaware (21-9, 13-2 Colonial Athletic Association), which shot a season-low 41 percent (14 of 34) from the free throw line.

The Fightin' Blue Hens, however, limited UNCW to 20 field goals on 65 attempts (31 percent), including just 5 of 20 (25 percent) from 3-point range.

Tanner Milson's 3 with 15:55 remaining gave UNCW (9-22, 3-13) a 38-29 advantage. Usher's 3-pointer nearly 4 minutes later capped a 15-5 Delaware run, resulting in a 44-43 lead.

Another Usher 3 with 10:21 left gave Delaware the lead, 48-46, for good as the Blue Hens closed the game on a 22-9 run.

Milson paced the Seahawks with 11 points.
