Devon Saddler scored 30 points and Jamelle Hagins tallied a double-double, leading Delaware to a 71-60 win over Drexel Saturday in the Colonial Athletic Association opener for both teams.

Hagins scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Blue Hens (3-3), snapping a three game skid to the Dragons in the all-time series.

The Dragons led 9-6 thanks to Derrick Thomas' layup and 3-pointer on back-to-back possessions, but the Blue Hens would make a game-changing run from that juncture. Saddler knocked down a 3 to tie it, was fouled on the play and sank his bonus shot to put Delaware in front 10-9 with 16:41 left in the first half.

The Blue Hens led the rest of the way.
