Davidson ends Mocs' 10-game winning streak 94-51

DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) De'Mon Brooks had 27 points and 12 rebounds on Thursday night and Davidson handed Chattanooga its first Southern Conference loss 94-51.

The Wildcats (11-11, 7-1) also ended Chattanooga's (14-9, 8-1) 10-game winning streak though the Mocs remain a half-game ahead of Davidson in the conference standings.

Jordan Barham had 16 points, and Tyler Kalinoski and Tom Droney each scored 11 for Davidson, which shot 42 of 71 from the field, compared with 16 of 49 by Chattanooga. Droney also had eight assists.

Davidson ended the first half on a 10-2 run to take a 43-25 advantage at the half and led by no less than 16 the rest of the way. The 43-point margin of victory comes in the season's only scheduled matchup between the teams.

Casey Jones had 20 points and eight rebounds and the Mocs shot 0 of 13 from 3-point range and recorded only three assists.
