NEW ORLEANS (AP) Louis Dabney scored six of his 25 points in overtime to help Tulane beat South Florida 56-51 on Sunday.

South Florida's Troy Holston Jr. scored to open overtime. Tulane answered with Jay Hook's 3 and Dabney's jumper to make it 51-48. Holston hit a trey to tie it at 51 before Dylan Osetkowski split a pair of free throws and Dabney made four to seal it for the Green Wave (12-4, 3-1 American Athletic Conference).

Anthony Collins hit a fading, one-handed jumper to give South Florida (7-10, 1-3) its first lead since the opening bucket at 46-45 with 22 seconds left in regulation.

Tulane's Jonathan Stark was intentionally fouled with 16 seconds to go, but made just one of two from the line to tie it at 46.
