Stephan Hicks and Josh Greene scored 20 points apiece Tuesday night as Cal State Northridge defeated San Diego Christian 95-68.
Vinnie McGhee and Allan Guei each had 13 points for the Matadors (1-3), and Thomas Jacobs and Ari Feldman finished with 10 apiece.
Benji Arvizu paced the Hawks (1-2) with 15 points. Arturo Prieto scored 13, while Tim Sanders and Xavier Mylleville had 10 apiece.
After a 10-10 tie, the Matadors ran off 11 points in a row for a 21-10 lead with 12:08 left in the first half. It was never close after that.

The Matadors shot only 40 percent (32 of 80) but took 33 more shots than Hawks. San Diego Christian made up part of that difference by sinking 32 of 47 free throws to 24 of 29 for Northridge.
