Lenny Daniel tied his career high with 31 points and added 13 rebounds to lead Cal State Northridge to a 75-52 victory over Cal Lutheran on Tuesday night
Daniel's double-double was his third of the season and he was the only player in double figures for the Matadors (3-6), who ended a three-game losing streak and improved to 21-0 all-time against the Kingsmen.
Aaron Van Klaveren scored 15 points and Greg Grimm had 13 for Cal Lutheran (2-2), a Division III team.
Daniel was 15 of 18 from the field and scored 18 points after intermission. Northridge opened the second half with a 19-6 run to break open a game that was tied 31-all at halftime.
