Cornell 78, Albright 60

Drew Ferry scored 16 points and Cornell snapped a five-game losing streak with a 78-60 win over Division III Albright on Saturday.
Ferry made four 3-pointers as the Big Red shot 48.4 percent (31 of 64) from the field, including 10 of 22 from 3-point range. Chris Wroblewski added 11 points and Shonn Miller had 10 for Cornell (5-10), who have won 19 in a row against non-Division I teams.
The Big Red are 5-1 at home this season.
Albright led through the first 12 minutes of the game but Cornell rallied for a 32-26 halftime lead. Cornell put the game out of reach with a 13-0 run to start the second half, capped by a Ferry layup with 15:17 remaining.
Derek Hall scored 15 points and Dave Singleton added 13 points for Albright, a Reading, Pa., school playing its first Division I opponent in more than a decade.
