Chris Wroblewski scored 29 points to lead Cornell to a 60-52 victory over Stony Brook on Saturday.

Wroblewski hit four 3-pointers and was 9 of 10 from the free-throw line as Cornell (4-10) won for the second time in three games.

The Big Red led throughout the second half, but couldn't pull away. Cornell scored six consecutive points for a 49-39 lead with 4:55 left, but Stony Brook's Danny Carter countered with a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to 49-42 with 4:27 to play.

The Seawolves (6-8) cut it to 56-50 on Bryan Dougher's three-point play, but couldn't get closer as Wroblewski hit four free throws in the final 27 seconds.

Drew Ferry added 11 points for the Big Red, which shot 78.9 percent from the foul line (15 of 19) in the second half. Aaron Osgood added nine points and eight rebounds.

Dougher led Stony Brook with 12 points.
