Jordan Lee scored 19 points in only 23 minutes and Coppin State rode a hot second half to a 73-60 victory over cross-town rival Morgan State on Thursday night in the regular-season finale for both teams.

The Eagles (16-13, 11-5 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) trailed 30-28 at halftime after shooting only 39.3 percent from the field (11 of 28). But they caught fire in the second half, making 13 of 21 shots (61.9 percent), getting 15 points off Morgan State turnovers, outscoring the Bears 45-30 and winning their fourth in the last five games.

Vince Goldsberry added 16 points for Coppin State and Michael Harper had 14.

DeWayne Jackson added 16 and Kevin Thompson 14 for the Bears (15-13, 10-6), who went the final 4:21 without a field goal and lost their third in a row. Capitalizing on that scoring drought, the Eagles turned what was a three-point game into their biggest lead.
