Desmond Holloway scored a game-high 18 points to lead Coastal Carolina past LaGrange College 79-40 on Saturday night.
The Chanticleers (2-0) led 18-14 with 7:03 left in the opening half, but reeled off 26 straight points to enter halftime with a commanding 44-14 lead.
Holloway scored 15 points in the first half on 5 of 7 shooting as the Chanticleers made 17 of 27 (63 percent) shots as a team to open up their lead.
The Panthers went 6-for-29 (20.7 percent) from the floor in the first half and turned the ball over 12 times.
Coastal Carolina ended the game 30 of 55 from the floor and won by at least 39 points for the second consecutive game - the Chanticleers defeated Piedmont College 112-52 on Friday night.
Nic Whitfield, 10 points, was the only LaGrange player to score in double figures as the Panthers ended the game shooting 15-for-57 (26.3 percent) from the floor.
