Cleveland State outlasts Robert Morris 62-58

Trevon Harmon tied his career high with 24 points, helping Cleveland State rally to overtake Robert Morris and then hold on for a 62-58 win on Thursday night.

Harmon scored all 10 points for the Vikings (9-1) in the final 3:04 of the first half, including a 30-foot 3-pointer at the buzzer, for a 27-24 halftime lead.

Cleveland State padded its cushion to 16, at 53-37 with 9:43 to go, but the Colonials (7-3) used a 19-4 run to cut the deficit to one point with 56 seconds left on a Lijah Thompson dunk.

Tim Kamczyc, who had made only 8 of 11 free throws entering the game, hit 5 of 6 in the final 34 seconds to seal the win.

Velton Jones and Coron Williams scored 18 apiece to lead Robert Morris.

The Vikings, who tied the series at 6-6, concluded their seven-game road swing with a 6-1 record.
