Jeremy Montgomery had 14 points and three other Cleveland State players scored 13 points apiece, leading the Vikings to an easy 73-56 win over Illinois-Chicago on Thursday night for their third win four games.

D'Aundray Brown, Anton Grady and Charles Lee scored 13 points each for the Vikings (13-3, 3-1 Horizon League). Montgomery also went 4 of 6 on 3-pointers, Grady had a game-high seven rebounds and Brown blocked three shots.

Brown knocked down a 3-pointer and sank a free throw to help spark a game-opening 16-2 run for the Vikings, who never trailed in the win. They led 35-18 at the break and each team scored 38 points in the second half, sealing it for Cleveland State.

The Vikings outshot the Flames (5-10, 1-4), who didn't have any players in double figures, 45.9 percent (28 of 61) to 30.4 percent (17 of 56).
