Carl Montgomery had 24 points and 12 rebounds as Chicago State beat Texas-Pan American 70-63.
Antonio Lofton added 14 points for the Cougars (5-14, 2-1 Great West), who shot 53 percent from the field and outrebounded the Broncs 33-24. Jamill Harris had 10 points and six assists, while Jonathon Montgomery also had 10 points.
Brandon Provost had 18 points and Matt Mierzycki 12 for Texas-Pan American (3-16, 0-2), which lost its 10th straight game despite shooting 46 percent from the field. The Broncs are 0-10 in road games this season.
Texas-Pan American led 32-28 at halftime in a game that featured 18 lead changes and six ties.
