Troy Cage scored 16 points to lead five Chattanooga players in double figures in an 89-51 win over Montreat on Wednesday night.
Jeff Smith and Omar Wattad added 15 points each, Ricky Taylor had 13 and Dontay Hampton scored 11 for the Mocs (7-6) in the Dr. Pepper Classic.
The Mocs will face Georgia State in the tournament's championship game Thursday.
Chattanooga shot 49.2 percent (32 of 65), while holding the Cavaliers (4-7) to just 25 percent from the field (17 of 68).
The Mocs outrebounded Montreat 50-45 with DeAntre Jefferson tallying 10. Chattanooga outscored Montreat 40-16 in the paint.
Keegan Bell had eight assists and the Mocs scored 22 points off of 18 Montreat turnovers.
Terrell Mosley and Giles Mack scored 11 points each for the Cavaliers of the NAIA. Steve McBorrough grabbed 12 rebounds for Montreat.
