CLINTON, S.C. (AP) Will Saunders scored 17 points - with all five of his buckets from 3-point range - as Charleston Southern connected on seven of its first nine shots and never trailed in an 86-47 pasting of Presbyterian on Saturday night.

The Buccaneers (12-15, 6-8 Big South) had come in on a two-game losing streak but wasted no time jumping out on Presbyterian (6-23, 2-12).

Alhaji Fullah scored 14 points and Arlon Harper 11 for the Buccaneers. Sheldon Strickland opened the game with a 3-pointer and finished with 10 points. All told, the Buccaneers hit 11 of 21 3-point shots and outrebounded the Blue Hose 41-28, had eight steals and forced 17 turnovers.

A 24-6 run featuring four 3-pointers by Saunders spanned a 7-minute stretch late in the game and boosted the lead to 40 points with 4:06 remaining.
