Jamarco Warren scored 24 points and Charleston Southern broke a two-game losing streak against Radford with a 73-58 win on Sunday.

Sheldon Strickland added 14 points and Jeremy Sexton had 11 for the Buccaneers (8-7, 2-1 Big South Conference), who have won two games in a row for the first time since the second and third games of the season.

Charleston Southern led 58-50 in the second half and put the game out of reach with a 15-4 run capped by a layup by Strickland with 4:07 remaining for a 73-54 lead with 4:07 remaining. Radford made only one field goal in the final 5 minutes.

Radford (3-11, 0-4) entered the game with an 8-3 advantage in the series throughout the past five seasons.

Gorkem Sonmez scored a career-high 21 points and was the first Highlander to score at least 20 points in a game this season. Tolga Cerrah added 13 points for Radford.
