Central Michigan comes back to beat Buffalo 75-74

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Chris Fowler scored 22 points - including the game-winner - to cap Central Michigan's 75-74 come-from-behind victory over Buffalo on Saturday.

Buffalo led 45-32 at the half but Central Michigan went on a 16-3 run to start the second and make it a one-point game with 14:23 remaining. Xavier Ford answered with a three-point play and Shannon Evans hit a trey as the Bulls extended to a seven-point lead with 12:47 to go.

Central Michigan continued to threaten - a 3-pointer from Josh Kozinski put the Chippewas in front for the first time in the second half with 8:02 remaining. Central Michigan then led until a layup from Justin Moss tied the score at 74-all with 38 seconds left.

Fowler made the first of two free throws with 8 seconds left to seal it for the Chippewas (18-5, 8-4 Mid-American).

Jarryn Skeete led the Bulls (15-9, 6-6) with 19 points.
