Cent. Arkansas gets first win, beats New Orleans 70-67

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) Jordan Howard had 20 points as Central Arkansas earned its first win of the season, knocking off New Orleans 70-67 in Southland Conference play on Saturday.
Florida A&M (0-22) now is the lone winless Division I men's team in the country.
Central Arkansas (1-19, 1-8) led throughout and was up 64-49 with 5:35 left in the game, but the defense took a break. New Orleans went on an 18-3 run to tie at 67 with 1:57 left, but the Privateers could not take the lead and did not score again.
Mathieu Kamba made two free throws and Howard split a pair with :33 left to seal the win.
Howard was 6 of 11 from the field and made 7 of 10 free throws. Mike Martin added 15 points and Jake Zuilhof had 14.
Tevin Broyles led New Orleans (6-13, 2-8) with 16 points.
