Anthony Borden had both of his blocks in the final 22 seconds and LaQuentin Miles outscored Northwestern State 6-0 in the final minute to give Central Arkansas a 77-73 win Saturday.

The Bears (6-9, 1-2 Southland Conference) trailed 73-71 with 1:42 remaining before Miles, who had 12 of his 16 points in the second half, tied it on a layup with 2:03 left. Borden then blocked Shamir Davis' jumper and Miles made two free throws with 18 seconds left.

Louis Ellis tried to tie it for the Demons (9-8, 2-1) but once again Borden came up with a block, leading to two more free throws by Miles.

The Bears, who snapped a six-game skid, scored 14 points off nine turnovers and shot 59.3 percent (16 of 27) in the second half.
