California 73, Jackson St. 46

Allen Crabbe came off the bench to score 17 points, Jorge Gutierrez added seven points and 10 assists and California pulled away in the second half to beat Jackson State 73-46 on Sunday.

Crabbe, the Golden Bears' leading scorer, did not start for the first time this year after being late for the team's morning shootaround but finished in double figures for the fifth straight game and the seventh time this season. He went 7 of 13 from the floor and added five rebounds and three assists.

Cal (8-2), which has won two straight since falling out of the Top 25, trailed early, led by 12 at halftime and pulled away after the break.

Jenirro Bush had 16 points and six rebounds for Jackson State (1-8), which has lost four straight. The Tigers matched the Bears' quickness but shot just 34 percent from the floor.
