Cal St.-Fullerton 87, UC Davis 82

Devon Peltier made five 3-pointers and finished with 25 points to lead Cal State-Fullerton to an 87-82 victory over UC Davis on Saturday night.

The game had five ties and nine lead changes, but Peltier put the Titans (11-19, 7-9 Big West) ahead for good on a jumper with 3:35 left.

The win gave the Titans the No. 6 seed in the conference tournament. They are scheduled to play No. 3 seed Cal State Northridge in the first round.

Mark Payne led the Aggies (10-20, 4-12) with a game-high 28 points while Ryan Sypkens scored 22, Josh Ritchart 15 and Eddie Miller 13.

The Aggies made a 12-0 run midway through the first half before taking their largest lead of 35-21.

Isiah Umipig finished with 23 points for Fullerton while Perry Webster added 11 and Andre Hardy grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.
