David Hanson snagged a double-double, scoring 25 points and pulling down 11 rebounds, as Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo beat Cal State-Fullerton 75-70 on Saturday night.
The Mustangs (15-13, 10-5 Big West) pulled ahead for good late in the first half and led by as many as 17 points in the second.
Hanson made 9 of 18 shots from the field, including six 3-pointers. Shawn Lewis added 17 points for the Mustangs while Dylan Royer scored a career-best 12 and Will Donahue 10.
Jer'Vaughn Johnson led the Titans (9-19, 5-9) with 19 points and 17 rebounds. Devon Peltier added 19 points and Orane Chin scored 11 for Fullerton.
