Bucknell 71, Marist 65

Mike Muscala turned in his seventh double-double of the season and Bucknell extended its winning streak to six games with a 71-65 nonconference win over Marist Wednesday night.
The Bison's 11-1 start is the program's best since beginning 12-0 in 1907-08.
Muscala scored 26 points, nabbed 13 rebounds and blocked five shots. The senior was 12 of 13 from the foul line and hit 7 of 15 from the field.
Joe Willman added 15 points for Bucknell.
Jay Bowie and Devin Price led Marist (4-7) with 13 points each.
Marist used a 13-2 run to lead 56-51 after Price's jumper with 8:51 left, but then Muscala scored six straight points to pull Bucknell ahead 57-56. Bowie hit two free throws for Marist, but then Bucknell's Cameron Ayers hit one free throw, Bryson Johnson made two more and Ayers drained a 3 to put the Bison up for good.
