Mike Muscala posted 17 points and 11 rebounds to help Bucknell pull away and beat Dartmouth for the third year in a row Tuesday, 62-49, and improve to 6-1 for the first time since 2005-06.

Muscala entered the game averaging 17.2 points and 11 rebounds for Bucknell and has recorded five double-doubles this season. The 6-foot-11 senior hit all seven of his free throws and ranks first on Bucknell's career free-throws made (429) list.

Dartmouth (1-3) led 24-22 before Bucknell's Bryson Johnson was fouled on a 3-pointer with one second remaining in the half. Johnson (10 points) sank all three free throws to give Bucknell a 25-24 lead at the break.

Muscala broke open a 35-all, second-half tie with a three-point play that sparked a 9-0 run for the Bison. Bucknell never led by less than seven the rest of the way.

Alex Mitola led Dartmouth with 12 points.
