Bowling Green rallies past Cleveland State 67-57

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) Jehvon Clarke hit back-to-back 3 pointers, added a layup and an assist as Bowling Green launched a 14-3 run midway through the second half, hitting the throttle down the stretch for a 67-57 come-from-behind win over Cleveland State on Saturday night.

Clarke finished with 10 points, making all of his field goals in the breakaway second-half run.

The Falcons (6-2) trailed by as many as 12 but spanned halftime with a 12-0 run to catch up, and led by as many as 16 en route to the win.

Richaun Holmes led with 15 points and nine rebounds, Zack Denny scored 14 and Delvin Dickerson 12.

Trey Lewis topped Cleveland State (4-5) with 14 points and Charlie Lee added 13 as the Vikings shot 33 percent for the game but made only 7 of 32 in the second half.

Bowling Green shot 42 percent (19 of 45), but made 24 free throws.
