Joe Jakubowski scored 13 points, hitting all four of Bowling Green's 3-pointers, as the Falcons held on to defeat Texas-San Antonio 70-59 on Thursday night.

Scott Thomas added a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds for Bowling Green (4-9), which has won three of its last four games.

The Falcons led by 14 with 13:51 to go, but the Roadrunners (6-5) tied it at 50 on a Devin Gibson 3-pointer with 7:53 left.

Bowling Green promptly regained the advantage with a 10-2 run, capped by Cameron Black's three-point play.

Texas-San Antonio got no closer than four the rest of the way.

Each team led by as many as seven in the first half, with the Falcons taking a 30-27 lead into halftime.

Bowling Green shot 50.9 percent (27 of 53) from the field and scored 24 points off 20 Roadrunners turnovers.

Gibson had 14 points and five assists to lead Texas-San Antonio.
