Boston University takes out DIII Wentworth 69-46

BOSTON (AP) Eric Fanning scored 15 points and Nathan Dieudonne added 13 to help Boston University beat Division III Wentworth 69-46 on Monday to conclude its non-conference schedule.
Dieudonne made just 3 of 10 field goals, but was 7 of 9 from the free-throw line for BU (4-7). The Terriers were just 22 of 59 from the field, but forced 18 turnovers and held a 43-31 rebounding advantage.
BU went without a field goal for 9-plus minutes, spanning both halves, but still led 38-28 after Cameron Curry's 3-pointer ended the dry spell. The Terriers led by 26 points, its largest margin of the season, after opening the second half on a 22-5 run.
Seventeen of Wentworth's first 31 shots were from 3-point range - but made just five of them.
It was the first-ever meeting between the two schools and the Leopards' first Division I game since Dec. 15, 2011.
