Boston University edges Army 71-70

WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) John Papale came off the bench to score 19 points as Boston University narrowly edged Army 71-70 Wednesday.

Maurice Watson, Jr. had 16 points and Travis Robinson added 11 for the Terriers (21-9, 14-3 Patriot).

Army led 33-23 at the break but Boston came back strong midway through the second with a 13-4 run sparked by a Papale 3-pointer at 10:41 to lead 58-53 with 7:30 to play. The Black Knights tied it up at the 2-minute mark, 66-66, with the help of back-to-back buckets by Kyle Wilson. The Terriers responded with Papale and Watson combining for 4 of 4 from the line to put BU back up 71-68. In the final seconds, Army's Dylan Cox sank a layup to come within one but did not draw a foul, ending the Black Knights' chances.

The Black Knights (13-15, 9-8) were led by Kevin Ferguson with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
