BOISE, Idaho (STATS) - Boise State continued its late-season surge with a 75-69 victory over Evansville to advance to the semifinals of the College Basketball Invitational.

Ryan Watkins had 18 points and eight rebounds and Daequon Montreal scored 10 of his 14 points in the second half for the Broncos (22-12), who have won 10 of 11 and will face Oregon in the semifinals Wednesday.

Westly Perryman's three-point play with 7:34 remaining snapped a 52-all tie and put Boise State ahead to stay. Watkins hit a jumper with 5:21 to play and the freshman forward sank another shot with 1:48 remaining to put the Broncos up 65-59.

Ned Cox scored 17 points and Kenny Harris added 16 for the Aces (16-16), who trailed 30-23 at halftime after shooting 4 for 18 (22.2 percent) in the opening 20 minutes.

Evansville leading scorer Colt Ryan was limited to 10 points on 3-of-9 shooting after averaging 21.0 in his previous six games.
