Boatright, Moore are unanimous AAC picks

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) Ryan Boatright of Connecticut and Nic Moore of SMU were chosen unanimously for the American Athletic's all-conference team.

The rest of the AAC's first team was Austin Nichols of Memphis, Will Cummings of Temple and James Woodard of Tulsa. One of those five will be chosen as the league's player of the year on Thursday before the conference tournament starts.

Moore scored 14.4 points per game for regular season champion SMU, while Boatright leads the league with a 17.8-point average for Connecticut. Nichols was chosen the league's rookie of the year.

The second team was: Cincinnati's Octavius Ellis, Tulane's Louis Dabney, Tulsa's Shaquille Harrison, and SMU's Markus Kennedy and Yanick Moreira.
