BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) Jordan Reed scored 20 points and grabbed 16 rebounds as Binghamton snapped an eight-game skid Saturday with a 73-58 win over Maine.

Unable to break away until midway through the second half, Binghamton (5-19, 2-9 America East Conference) used a 14-2 run fueled by Yosef Yacob's layup and four free throws to take a 60-47 lead with 6 minutes to go. The Bearcats then padded their advantage down the stretch.

Roland Brown contributed 17 points and nine rebounds and Yacob finished with 15 points for Binghamton, which remains in last place just behind Maine.

Trailing 33-32 at the break, Maine (5-18, 3-8) fell behind quickly in the second half but pulled back to within three on a Christian Ejiga layup that made it 46-43 with 10:52 left but couldn't keep the pace.
