TyShwan Edmondson scored 20 points and Melvin Baker added 16 as Austin Peay routed Fontbonne 112-52 on Saturday night.

The Governors (6-5) jumped out to a 20-2 start against the Division III Griffins (2-6) and scored the most points in a home victory since their 117 against Bryan College in 1993-94.

The point total was also Austin Peay's highest since scoring 116 in a triple-overtime loss to Southeast Missouri in the 2007-08 season.

Josh Terry, starting at forward in place of Anthony Campbell, who suffered a season-ending knee injury on Wednesday, added 12 points. Coming off the bench, Will Triggs scored 13 and Alton Williams chipped in 10.

Austin Peay shot 57.3 percent from the field (43 of 75) and outrebounded Fontbonne 46-26. The Governors also committed a season-low six turnovers.

Freddie Fleming led the Griffins with nine points and eight rebounds.
