After halftime, the Rattlers continued to frustrate Auburn. The Tigers made just three field goals in the first eight minutes of the second half.

But a Chris Denson's breakaway layup with just more than nine minutes left steadied the Tigers. Chubb then scored four consecutive points to give the Tigers a 56-48 lead with 8 minutes to play. It was part of a 14-1 run that sealed it.

Avery Moore scored 24 points to lead Florida A&M (2-10).
