Josh Herbeck scored 19 points, 18 of them coming on 3-pointers, to lead Army over Longwood 96-77 on Tuesday night.

Herbeck was 6 of 10 from behind the arc, pacing the Black Knights to a 13-of-24 performance from long range.

Five players scored in double figures for Army with Ella Ellis adding 18, Julian Simmons 16, Mo Williams 15 and Milton Washington 11.

The Black Knights shot 55.7 percent from the field (34 of 61) in their fourth win in the last five games.

Army led 51-30 at halftime, and stretched its lead to as many as 27, 82-55, on Williams' free throw with 8:06 to play.

The Lancers (4-11) shot just 37.5 percent (24 of 64), and were just 5 of 23 from 3-point range (21.7 percent).

Jeremiah Bowman led Longwood with 17 points. Antwan Carter added 15 for the Lancers, who lost their fifth in a row.
