FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) Arkansas coach Mike Anderson believes missing the NCAA Tournament last season was an aberration, not a trend.
The Razorbacks, loaded with an influx of junior-college talent, will have an early chance to prove their coach correct on a preseason tour of Spain next month.
Arkansas leaves late next week for the 12-day trip, during which it will play four games against European competition in three cities.
The Razorbacks will practice 10 times before they leave, giving a roster that features eight new players a chance to mesh following a disappointing 16-16 record last season. Among those new faces are three top junior-college recruits, guards Jaylen Barford and Daryl Macon along with forward Arlando Cook.
