Kaela King scored 18 points and Arizona State shot 61 percent (25 of 41) from the field in a 67-64 victory at Tulsa on Saturday.
Tulsa (4-5) came into the game allowing opponents to shoot 37 percent, but the Sun Devils (3-4) consistently penetrated for high-percentage shots in the lane.
King's three-point play with 3:34 remaining gave Arizona State a 59-54 lead, and the Golden Hurricane got no closer than three points afterward, in big part because they missed 6 of 9 free throws in the final four minutes.
Kyle Cain scored 11 points and Felix Carrick had 10 points and seven rebounds for the Sun Devils.
