Mike Black scored five straight points in overtime, including the go-ahead basket, as Albany (N.Y.) defeated Siena 88-82 in overtime on Saturday night to win the annual Albany Cup matchup for the first time since 2004.

Tim Ambrose had 27 points and Logan Aronhalt added 24 for the Great Danes (4-5) in a game that featured 18 lead changes, including seven in overtime.

Albany led 38-30 at halftime, then Siena (2-5) rallied from a 12-point deficit in the second half, taking the lead at 70-69 with 2:23 to go.

Aronhalt made a free throw to tie the game at 72, and Siena's Ryan Rossiter missed a 3-pointer with 1.6 seconds left to end regulation.

In overtime, Black's points pushed Albany ahead 83-79, then Rossiter, who finished with 28 points and 13 rebounds, made it 83-82 on a three-point play.

The Great Danes made 5 of 6 free throws in the final 29 seconds.
