March 1964: Signs professional contract with West Ham, making 149 league appearances for the Hammers.
August, 1972: Signs for Bournemouth. Makes 101 league appearances over three years, scoring five goals.
September 1982: Returns to Bournemouth as team coach, takes over as manager in 1983.
1992: Leaves Bournemouth to return to West Ham as assistant manager to Billy Bonds.
1994: Hired as West Ham's eighth manager in the club's history after Bonds resigns.
June 21, 2001: Appointed director of football at Portsmouth, and takes over as manager the following year.
April 2003: Leads Portsmouth to promotion to the Premier League after 15-year absence from the top flight.
Nov. 24, 2004: Redknapp resigns as Portsmouth manager after his relationship with chairman Milan Mandaric breaks down.
Dec. 8, 2004: Hired as Southampton manager.
May 15, 2005: Southampton is relegated from the Premier League on the final day of the season.
Dec. 3, 2005: Redknapp walks out on Southampton and claims he made ''a monumental mistake'' in leaving Portsmouth. He is reappointed Portsmouth manager four days later.
Nov. 28, 2007: Redknapp and four other men are arrested by City of London Police investigating corruption in football. The men were held on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting but were released without charge later the same day.
May 17, 2008: Portsmouth beats Cardiff 1-0 at Wembley to lift the FA Cup for the first time in 69 years.
Oct. 26, 2008: Redknapp says he has agreed to become Tottenham manager, with Spurs bottom of league.
January, 2010: Redknapp and Mandaric are charged with tax evasion.
November, 2011:Redknapp undergoes minor heart surgery but returns to work.
Jan. 23, 2012: Redknapp and Mandaric go on trial at London's Southwark Crown Court accused of two counts of cheating the public revenue.
