Canelo's KO of Khan had everyone talking about boxing for a night
The UFC will return to the top of the combat sports conversation Sunday morning, when Alistair Overeem's heavyweight battle with Andrei Arlovski headlines the Rotterdam fight card.
But for one night, everyone was talking about boxing, after watching Canelo Alvarez's crushing KO of Amir Khan, which sparked talk of an Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin fight from everybody — even the guy who just got beat.
"It's time that Canelo steps in the ring with Triple G," Khan said after regaining consciousness. He wasn't alone.
Here's what people were saying after the fight.

Canelo says he has "no issue" fighting @GGGBoxing at a 160-pound limit. That's huge. If true, an enormous obstacle has been removed.

De La Hoya said he's clearly empowered by popularity of @Canelo in GGG talks. "I have four aces and they have a pair of twos," he says.
