Chip Ganassi Racing Possibility
Sports Business Journal's Adam Stern reports that one possible location for Wallace next season is Chip Ganassi Racing.
Impact
Wallace's contract is up at years end with current team, Richard Petty Motorsports. The No. 42 team of Chip Ganassi Racing looks more and more like a realistic possibility for the young driver if he decides to leave RPM. The CGR team is currently piloted by veteran Matt Kenseth, but his deal is believed to be just for the remainder of this season. The McDonald's sponsorship that both teams share could be the bridge that makes a Wallace move to CGR next season possible.

Fails inspection twice
Kenseth will start Sunday's race at Kentucky Speedway from the rear after failing inspection twice, Jim Utter of Motorsport.com reports.
Impact
Kenseth will keep his official starting position of 17th, but will drop to the rear on pace laps. It makes him slightly less intriguing as a DFS option having to pass more cars on a track that is already extremely difficult to pass. Kenseth does have momentum, however, after a runner-up last week at Indy. He also has a win at Kentucky back in 2013, the only other day race in the track's Cup series history.
