Showboats vs. Defenders highlights: Late TD gives DC win over Memphis

The 2025 UFL season continued Saturday, with the DC Defenders taking down the Memphis Showboats, 17-12, to improve to 2-0.
Coming off their upset victory over the Birmingham Stallions in Week 1, the Defenders needed some more drama to get back-to-back victories. After the Showboats took the lead early in the fourth quarter, the Defenders were able to find the end zone for the first time all day shortly after and hold on for victory.
