Dismissed from team Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst said Tuesday that Crawford has been dismissed from the team, Jesse Temple of The Athletic reports.
Impact A true freshman running back, Crawford was dropped from the football program after he was involved in a physical altercation at a university residence hall in which a UW-Madison Police Department spokesman said Crawford allegedly had a knife, according to the Associated Press. Crawford will now look to reboot his career elsewhere, though based on the timing of his dismissal, he'll likely have to wait until the 2022 season to see the field.
