Commits to Georgia Tech Byrne has committed to Georgia Tech, Alex Farrer and Kelly Quinlan of Rivals.com reports.

Impact Enrolling at Georgia Tech allows Byrne to continue being part of an ACC team. Meanwhile, the 2024 Yellow Jackets significantly improved by adding Jackson Hawes via transfer. Ideally for Tech, Byrne enrolling there will produce a similar result. Even though Hawes will have maximized his collegiate eligibility by 2025, Byrne's statistical output significantly improving remains far from certain. Currently, that year's Yellow Jackets are also expected to have Harry Lodge and Brett Seither (knee). The two logged at least 100 receiving yards during their last seasons, both for ACC teams.
