Leaving FSU Powers has announced his intentions to enter the NCAA transfer portal, Mike Farrell of MikeFarrellSports.com reports.

Impact Powers will seek out opportunities in the portal this offseason after spending three years with the Seminoles. The 6-foot-4 redshirt sophomore, a former three-star recruit in the class of 2022, did not record any catches during his time with Florida State.

Impact After an inactive 2023 season and spring of 2024, Flowers will finally look to log some counting stats this year. In particular, he will compete against fellow Jackson West and Kyle Morlock, the latter of whom finished his 2023 with 255 receiving yards.

Impact Head coach Mike Norvell said Powers will not participate in the rest of spring practice for an undisclosed injury and will continue to be evaluated. Powers appeared in just one game last season, playing nine snaps and recording zero stats.
